Custom Steel Monospine Staircase with Glass Balustrade, Oran Park

This custom open rise staircase at Oran Park is built around a white steel mono stringer, with Eucalyptus Grandis treads running the full U-shaped form. The Grandis treads are 280mm wide by 42mm thick with a 3mm arris and safety bar. A feature tread at the base of the stair sets the tone for the whole build.

A frameless glass balustrade runs the length of the staircase and continues upstairs to enclose the void, side mounted to each tread with white fittings. A white nano top rail sits across the top of the glass, serving as the handrail throughout the stair.
