Custom Spotted Gum Staircase With LED Lighting, Medindie

Located within one of Medindie’s historic streets, this custom Spotted Gum staircase was designed to replace an existing staircase while making the most of the original stone walls surrounding it. Winder treads at the base of the staircase create an efficient transition into the lower level, allowing the new staircase to fit seamlessly within the available space.

Integrated LED strip lighting is concealed beneath the treads and behind the risers, casting a subtle glow across the established stone walls and improving visibility throughout the stairwell. Combining quality hardwood construction with careful installation, the finished staircase respects the character of the original home while delivering the safety, durability and performance expected from a modern custom staircase.
